Ubuntu, Unity, Xmonad and the missing appmenu

Finally figured out how to remove the global appmenu in unity that causes the text based menu at the top of my apps to disappear in xmonad.  Have to remove indicator-appmenu.

sudo apt-get remove indicator-appmenu
